മധു ഭാസ്‌കരന്‍
ഒരു ബിസിനസില്‍ രണ്ട് തരം പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങളാണുള്ളത്. ഇവയില്‍ ഏത് പ്രവര്‍ത്തനത്തില്‍ സംരംഭകന് ശ്രദ്ധ കേന്ദ്രീകരിക്കുന്നു എന്നതിനെ അടിസ്ഥാനപ്പെടുത്തിയാണ് ബിസിനസിന്റെ വളര്‍ച്ച നിര്‍ണയിക്കുന്നത്. ഏതെല്ലാമാണ് ഇത്തരം രണ്ട് പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങള്‍ എന്നും അവ തമ്മിലുള്ള വ്യത്യാസം എന്താണെന്നും നമുക്ക് നോക്കാം.
1. Running business (Operational activities)
ബിസിനസുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട ഓപ്പറേഷണല്‍ ആക്ടിവിറ്റികളില്‍ സംരംഭകന്റെ സാന്നിധ്യമില്ലാതെ ബിസിനസ് മുന്നോട്ട് പോകില്ല എന്ന അവസ്ഥയാണ് ഉള്ളതെങ്കില്‍ സംരംഭകന് റണ്ണിങ് ബിസിനസില്‍ ഏര്‍പ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നാണ് അര്‍ത്ഥം. ഉദാഹരണത്തിന്, ബിസിനസിന്റെ ഓപ്പറേഷണല്‍ ആക്ടിവിറ്റികളായ സെയില്‍സ്, മാര്‍ക്കറ്റിങ്, കസ്റ്റമര്‍ സര്‍വീസ്, പ്രൊഡക്ഷന്‍, ഡെലിവറി, അക്കൗണ്ടിങ് ഇത്തരം പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങളില്‍ എല്ലാം തന്നെ സംരംഭകന്റെ സാന്നിധ്യമുണ്ടെങ്കില്‍ അദ്ദേഹം ബിസിനസ് റണ്‍ ചെയ്യുകയാണ് എന്നാണ് പറയുന്നത്.
ബഹുഭൂരിപക്ഷം സംരംഭകരും ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതല്‍ സമയം വിനിയോഗിക്കുന്നത് ഇത്തരം പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങള്‍ക്കാണ്. ഇത് വളര്‍ച്ചയെ കാര്യമായി ബാധിക്കും എന്നതില്‍ സംശയമില്ല.
റണ്ണിങ് ബിസിനസില്‍ ഭൂരിഭാഗം പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങളും ആവര്‍ത്തിച്ചു വരുന്നവയാണ്. ഇത്തരം പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങളില്‍ സംരംഭകന് നേരിട്ട് ഇടപെടുന്നതിന്റെ ആവശ്യകത ഉണ്ടാകുന്നില്ല. അതുകൊണ്ട് തന്നെ ഒരു സംരംഭകന് നേരിട്ടല്ല ഈ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങളില്‍ ഇടപെടേണ്ടത്, മറിച്ച് സംരംഭകന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തില്‍ രൂപപ്പെട്ട ടീം ആയിരിക്കണം ഇത്തരം ആക്ടിവിറ്റികള്‍ ചെയ്യേണ്ടത്.
ഒരു മികച്ച ടീം നിര്‍മ്മിക്കുകയും ജോലികള്‍ ചെയ്യാന്‍ ടീമിലുള്ളവരെ പ്രാപ്തരാക്കുകയും വിശ്വസ്തതയോടെ ജോലികള്‍ ഡെലിഗേറ്റ് ചെയ്യുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന ജോലിയില്‍ ഉണ്ടാകാന്‍ സാധ്യതയുള്ള തെറ്റുകള്‍ തിരുത്തിക്കൊടുക്കുകയും ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ട് അവരെ കൂടുതല്‍ മെച്ചപ്പെടുത്തുകയാണ് വേണ്ടത്. ഇത്തരത്തില്‍ സംരംഭകന്റെ നേരിട്ടുള്ള ഇടപെടല്‍ ഇല്ലാതെ ബിസിനസ് മുന്നോട്ട് കൊണ്ടുപോകുവാന്‍ ടീമിനെ പ്രാപ്തരാക്കുകയാണ് ചെയ്യേണ്ടത്.

ബിസിനസിന്റെ വളര്‍ച്ചയുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട സ്ട്രാറ്റജിക്കലായ കാര്യങ്ങള്‍ രൂപപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതിനെയാണ് ബില്‍ഡിങ് ബിസിനസ് എന്ന് പറയുന്നത്. സ്ഥാപനത്തിന്റെ മിഷന്‍, വിഷന്‍, വാല്യൂസ്, ഗോളുകള്‍, അവ നേടിയെടുക്കുന്നതിന് അനുയോജ്യമായ സ്ട്രാറ്റജികള്‍ തയ്യാറാക്കുക, മികച്ച രീതിയില്‍ ബിസിനസിന്റെ മുന്നോട്ടുള്ള വളര്‍ച്ച ആസൂത്രണം ചെയ്യുക തുടങ്ങി ഇത്തരത്തില്‍ ബിസിനസിന്റെ വളര്‍ച്ചയുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട കാര്യങ്ങളാണ് ഇതില്‍ ഉള്‍പ്പെടുന്നത്. വളരെ ക്രിയേറ്റീവ് ആയതും റിസ്‌ക് ഏറിയതുമായ കാര്യങ്ങളാണ് ഇവ. അതുകൊണ്ടുതന്നെ ഒരു സംരംഭകന് മാത്രമേ ഇത്തരം പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങള്‍ ചെയ്യാന്‍ സാധിക്കുകയുള്ളു. മേല്‍പറഞ്ഞ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങളിലാണ് ഒരു സംരംഭകന് ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതല്‍ ശ്രദ്ധ കൊടുക്കേണ്ടത്.
ചുരുക്കിപ്പറഞ്ഞാല്‍ ഒരു സംരംഭകന്റെ എണ്‍പതുശതമാനം സമയവും ബില്‍ഡിങ് ബിസിനസുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങളിലും ഇരുപത് ശതമാനം സമയം റണ്ണിങ് ബിസിനസുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങളിലുമാണ് ചെലവഴിക്കേണ്ടത്. ബില്‍ഡിങ് ബിസിനസില്‍ ഒരു സംരംഭകന് കൂടുതലായി ഇടപെടുന്നത് വളര്‍ച്ചയുണ്ടാക്കും എന്നതില്‍ യാതൊരു തര്‍ക്കവുമില്ല.
