Kavitha Sajeesh is a simple and homely woman from Kollam who had completed her B.com graduation and moved to Trivandrum post her marriage with Sajeesh Kumar. And they have two children – Aishwarya Sajeesh (21) and Arjun Sajeesh (19).

In the year 2001, she had to move to Europe with her husband and toddler kids and was able to see a small part of the world. They returned back to India, in the year 2005 when it was time for the eldest child to start her schooling. Even though, she was a full time house maker, she couldn’t sit still and do nothing. Therefore, she started hobbies such as glass painting, jewellery making and doll making. But, something was still missing.

In the year 2010, Kavitha joined the 6 months long, Beauticians Training Program conducted by the Bharat Sevak Samaj, Trivandrum chapter. And that was just a humble starting for a career spanning more than 10+ years. She completed the advanced courses as well and started her own venture, Kavitha’s Beauty Parlour and Makeover Studio in Poojappura in the year 2011. Soon after an year she started another branch in Kollam, her homebase.

Her Achievements

In the ensuing years, Kavitha has been a part of various ventures and have marked her place firmly in the community. She is an established celebrity and bridal makeup artist and has won many awards for the same, including the award for the bridal makeup contest conducted by the Kerala Beauticians Association (KBA). Kavitha has also won accolades for her veritable presence in the society from Kasavumall, during their photo contest conducted this year. She also owned BSS Honour award.

Kavitha is also a big sweetheart and has done her part in philanthropic activities as well. She has been a part of Punyam Charitable Trust for a couple of years and she and her husband gives donations to certain groups of patients and individuals. It is an activity which is close to her heart and she strives to do so even when things get tough for herself.

In a very short span of time, she was able to amass respect in the industry and she has authored few articles and has even trained new aspirants on the various nuances of hair and beauty. Kavitha has also been acting as a stepping stone for many budding models to give them an opportunity in the field.

Natural beauty redefined

The prowess of Kavitha does not end here though. Currently she has launched two of her products, one is Kavitha’s facepack and the other one is a hair oil. Both of which, she had prepared, after studying and researching well on what does Indian hair and face requires.

In the year 2022, she is the director of Kavitha’s Group under which comes Her parlour, Kavitha’s Beauty Parlour and Makeover studio, and her organic beauty products under label, Kavitha’s Herbal Products. She has also dabbled a bit with real estate and is the director of Kavitha’s Apartments. She also has an online boutique which caters to the clothing wants of woman and children.

Kavitha is such a versatile figure and she keeps herself occupied by various pursuits of hobbies like dance, music and acting. And she has got new things planned down the pipeline and she hopes to bring them to fruition in the coming years.
